How anti-religion was The Simpsons?
The Simpsons used to be one of my favorite TV shows during my teenage years. I still remember gathering with my family around the television to watch it together, excited to see Bart getting into his usual shenanigans and Homer making yet another ridiculous mistake.
But beneath the humor, The Simpsons has often raised serious questions about God, faith, prayer, and organized religion. In this video, I revisit some of those scenes from a Muslim perspective and explain why the arguments they present ultimately fail.
